The Beach Explorers - a guided children activity

Who leaves the curly patterns on the sea floor? And who lives in the shell? How does the sea star eat?

The Beach Explorers is a fun activity for childen in the shallows of the beach. Together with the guide the children explore, get used to the water and learn about the marine animals in a fun way.

The activity is led by Anette Bargel, a certified guide from The Guides of Bohuslän. She also is a scuba diver and can talk of the animals we see. She is also trained in CPR / EFR. Read more about her on her web site Saltaguiden.

We have two groups every time we offer this activity, to be able to tender to the children's different ages. However, if 2 siblings want to be in the same group, that works too. 

• 9-10 am: Children aged 8-12.  Parents may participate too. Price: SEK 110/person.   

• 10.30-11.15  am: Children aged 4-7 år. A parent can participate with the child, included in the price SEK 80/child.

When: Tuesdays and Sundays before noon, starting from the camping.

Bring for the child: Cap, sun glasses, sun screen. And a personal flotation device if you have it. We have some otherwise.
